Dvir Golan born at 1988 , in peth - tikva, israel .

and grow up in ra'anana, israel. stared playing guitar at the age of 13, getting his inspiration and imitating rock figures like RHCP, Beatles, Pink floyd, Zeppelin, Dylan and fell in love with the music that changed his life.

in the age of 18 I  Was drafted to the military and didn't have much time to play for a long three years. and actually got a bit lost there. after finishing the army I took my guitar and bought a one way flying ticket. started in india then flew to spain, granada, and then to mexico. searching for my musical identity. though without any success. after 9 mounth traviling the world I went back from mexico to spain again and there I finally realized what I was looking for, when listened to the 30' dixieland jazz of sidney bechet and the gypsy swing of django reinhardt and fell in love with music all over again.

in the age of 22 he came back to israel and started seriously playing saxophone and at the age of 24 started studying in the rimon institute of jazz with the great and amazing techer, jazzist and composer Amikam kimelman. after tow years I moved to tel aviv and made "Bossa meninues" a bossa nova and samba quartet with a good friend the singer Shiran yosef.

one year after that, he was already playing in 7 ensembles which included TAU big band(jazz) and TAU Windband(classical music), the rimon salsa band, and three local rock bands.  and initiated my first original project with two amazing musician that he met in town. the two fellow just arrived from costa rica, they played there together in a latin ensemble. together they formed the ensemble Malabi tropical that plays world - wide music and gets a lot of compliments from industry people all around the world.

today this is one of my main projects as a saxophone player and musical manger of Malabi tropical, as well as a studio player, and a freelancer musical pruducer and composer.
